A Case Report: Probably Concurrent Nasogastric Tube Syndrome and Cerebrovascular Disease in a Postoperative Patient

Nasogastric tube syndrome (NTS) is characterized by acute upper airway obstruction due to bilateral vocal cord paralysis. Although NTS a rare cause of paralysis, it has the potential causing serious morbidities even mortality. We here with present case concurrent and cerebrovascular disease patient. 73 year-old male was admitted our university hospital emergency department respiratory distress stridor days after his cholecystectomy operation laryngoscopy showed The patient intensive care unit (ICU) urgent tracheotomy performed. On day discharge from hospital, movements fully recovered state. can be considered in who complains because nasogastric inserted. Thinking early may reducing complication rate.
